Unfinished Furniture

Eventually everyone will need to learn how to apply a coat of finish to furniture at some point in their life. That's because unfinished furniture is so much less expensive than finished furniture. During our 20s while we have just a little bit of income we tend to acquire a collection of unfinished furniture.

Making unfinished furniture shine takes a little elbow grease and not a lot of money. Go to a hardware store for some advice and make sure to get all the necessary equipment. You will need some sandpaper, a finishing paintbrush, varnish etc.

First, sand the areas of the unfinished furniture that you want to shine. After that, dust off the exposed services. Then, applying a few coats of finish (with some sanding after each coat) and you will have transformed that table or coffee table.
